Launching in 2011, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill started franchising in 2018 through United Franchise Group (UFG). The West Palm Beach, Fla.-based chain named Bob Anderson, formerly executive vice president of UFG, as president in July as it positions itself for further growth. The fast casual notched three-year average sales growth of 89.6% and unit growth of 95.7% during that period. The Great Greek was founded by two third-generation restaurateurs and has a menu that highlights Mediterranean favorites such as gyro, souvlaki, hummus and signature Fresh Feta Fries. The chain bills itself as “a contemporary take on timeless cuisine.”
