Your Investment, From Day One to
Opening Day
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill gives franchise owners the opportunity to open a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant in a growing category, with an established brand, a from-scratch menu, and multiple ways to serve customers through dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering.
Franchisees are supported throughout the process, from site selection, restaurant design, build-out to training, marketing, and ongoing operations. Instead of developing a restaurant concept from the ground up, you begin with established systems, supplier relationships, technology, and a team prepared to help you move from planning to opening day and beyond.
Of course, one of the first questions any prospective franchise owner asks is: What does it cost to open, and what does that investment include? Let’s review what your investment includes.

Total Investment Range
The estimated initial investment represents the range of costs associated with opening a Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. It includes the initial franchise fee and other anticipated expenses such as site development, leasehold improvements, equipment, furniture, signage, opening inventory, professional fees, insurance, and the needed working capital.
Where your restaurant falls within this range will depend on the market, the location you select, and the amount of work required to prepare the space for opening.
Factors that can affect the total investment include:
- Location and market: Lease rates, contractor pricing, permit costs, and other expenses vary by region.
- Size and condition of the space: A location that previously operated as a restaurant may require a different level of investment than a space that needs a complete build-out.
- Construction, labor, and materials: Local labor rates, material costs, contractor availability, and permitting timelines can influence the cost of development.
- Leasehold improvements: Depending on the condition of the location and the work required, estimated leasehold improvement costs will vary.
- Lease terms: Security deposits, prepaid rent, landlord requirements, and tenant improvement allowances vary by property and lease agreement.
The franchise development team provides guidance throughout the site-selection and development process, helping you evaluate potential locations and better understand the costs associated with your specific market and restaurant space.
All investment figures are estimates based on the current Franchise Disclosure Document. Actual costs will vary, and prospective franchisees should review the complete FDD.
