ABOUT THE FRANCHISE INVESTMENT
restaurant franchise fees
This one-time payment is due when you sign a franchise agreement with The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. The full value is currently $39,500, which covers many key items, like help with location selection, lease negotiation, and site build-out, initial training, assistance with staff recruitment and training, access to our suppliers, startup marketing kit, and help with the ramp-up and launch of your restaurant. This amount is based on a number of factors, including the complexity and uniqueness of the franchise model, the company’s cost for acquisition, development, and granting franchise, and the expected ROI of the business.
Liquid Capital
Liquid capital includes assets that are readily available to keep your business financially stable until you begin to generate profit. We require all our franchisees to have a liquid capital of approximately $300,000 that is in-the-bank, non-borrowed, and ready to invest. This amount should cover construction costs, rent, wages, advertising, and other costs associated with starting a business. We encourage our franchisees to have more on hand to make sure the venture doesn’t cause a strain on personal finances. The more liquid capital you have, the more smoothly the startup process will go.
Total Investment
To become a Great Greek franchisee requires a total investment, with the cheapest franchise restaurant cost starting at $650,000 and going up to $950,000. The range varies based on factors such as location, local demand, construction costs, rent, supplies, equipment, and other relevant expenses. The range is wide because a number of factors come into play, such as the location of the franchise, local demand, regional rates for construction, rent, supplies and equipment, and other relevant elements. This amount should be enough to cover all the requirements and expenses involved in starting a restaurant business. Some of the expenses you may encounter before your grand opening include insurance, fees for consultancy or legal services should you choose to acquire them, and lease deposits.
Royalty Payments
As a Great Greek Mediterranean Grill franchise, you’re required to pay royalties per month. A month after the launch of your business, you will contribute 6 percent of your gross sales revenue to royalties. This will cover the resources and ongoing support you will receive from our brand and corporate team. These include access to our suppliers, marketing and advertising, recruitment and human resources, management support, new developments with the brand and our offerings, and other services you’d need throughout the agreement.
